Bootable USB cannot be created, getting following error. With this kind of USB only (tried several pieces).

I have no idea about why Windows return ErrCode:87 when Ventoy try to write data to the USB stick.
You can try some alternative install method as follows:

In Linux ventoy recognizes the USB with huge delay. Hangs on 82% during installation, but successfully installs the USB.

Probably fake USB drives? Test with FakeFlashTest.exe or H2TESTW.exe under Windows.

Couldn't reformat the USB with windows disk manager after rufus, only with minitool partition wizard.

Maybe it is a 4K sector drive and FakeFlashTest does not handle 4K sector drives.
What actually is the drive?

Well the AliExpress ad says compatible with Win98/XP - so it should be 512 byte sector device.
Very odd device! Usually a flash drive reports as a Removable device not a Fixed device and always as 512 bytes/sector.

Just checked the sector size, it's 4k indeed.
Still it doesn't explain why can't I make this USB bootable (for UEFI) with Ventoy.
AIOBoot works well with the same USB drive.

Yes. Currently ventoy doesn't support 4K disks and I have no time and plan to support it in the near future.
