What happened?

Version 1.0.95 is on the Releases page under "Tags", but not under "Releases". Generally that means the author removed/retracted/unpublished the release. But since it's still available for download on tags, and still on ventoy.net as version 1.0.95, I just wanted to check and see if maybe this was a mistake or if there was a bug with 1.0.95 and it had to be removed on purpose?

Weird maybe GitHub's caching is messed up. Tried it in 2 browsers and same thing.

I will contact GitHub support as it appears there may be a glitch.

There are a few trojan detections for the Windows ZIP, maybe that's what's causing it. 3 detections right now including Microsoft.

That's a great thought, but I don't think that's the issue here, only because the same developer makes iVentoy and it's had loads of detections. It originally had 21 detections and the release showed up like normal. I've been reporting them to AV vendors for the past few weeks.

Issue in regards to false positives: ventoy/PXE#16

In regards to Ventoy, I have submitted false positive reports to several AV vendors:

I submitted a ticket to GitHub support reporting the bug. Even with caching turned off through devtools it doesn't show 1.0.95. Mobile browser shows the same. Different web browser shows the same. I also remoted-in to a computer I have in Dallas and it shows the same. But since the developer sees 1.0.95 there must be a site bug with GitHub as it is showing different "latest version" to different people.

I can access the release fine, this isn't a matter of being inaccessible at all, it's a matter of Releases not showing the latest version. 😊

Here is a video example:

I heard back from GitHub support and they said this...

I've reindexed ventoy/Ventoy/releases and the latest version is now displaying on the releases page. Thanks for flagging this, sometimes the pages can get a little out of sync :)
