MalwareBytes prevents users from going to site. Might contain trojan. #22
Comments
I have received this report, but I don't known why. There are just some documents and the download files(same with here in release tab) in the website. |
Maybe because the site uses http or that it has actually scanned the website server side and put on a blacklist because it contains software related to booting? |
Now the website uses https and I removed the files (redirect to github release tab). |
Great, i will retest |
@ventoy Too bad, still gives the error message. Maybe sent them a support ticket? |
the site is probabily on a blacklist because some antivirus detect that programs that were provenient from the site had "trojans" so a false positive leading to an automated preventive blacklist... |
@dennisvanderpool What about now? |
@ventoy Hi, I'm not using MalwareBytes anymore, using Windows Defender built into Windows 10 instead which isn't complaining. I recommend closing the issue. Thanks for following up. |
Install MalwareBytes on a fresh machine and try to visit the website https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html
Will complain that the site might contain a trojan.
