I meant to comment a while ago and forgot. This isn't a bug, as it turns out the scroll bar was never meant to function, it was purely there for aesthetics. But I heard it will be added in the future to actual function. (don't hold me to that, but it's what I saw way back when I brought this up in the slack channel) |
Yeah, this is painful |
any updates on this issue? |
Anyone that tested this on the |
@albinekb you got it. I just switched to canary and scroll is working there. Thanks! |
@joeSaad thank you for your feedback |
Seems this should already be fixed, but my scrollbar is still unavailable. I have been using mouse wheel for scrolling, which is annoying sometimes. OS version: Windows 10 Pro Build 17134.1 |
I am using Windows 10 Pro 18.09 and Hyper 2.1.0-canary.2 and the scrollbar is completely hidden for me too. This is with the default theme and the It's also worth pointing out the scrollbar is hidden with I'm also using WSL / Bash on Windows which at least hints to the lack of scrollbar not being a PowerShell specific issue because @Elderry's screenshot shows PowerShell. |
Should be fixed in newer versions |
Issue
I don't know if it's a by design behavior, but it's impossible to scroll terminal by dragging a scrollbar with mouse. At the same time, it's possible to scroll using mouse wheel, but it's only useful unless you have relatively short logs.
