Storing billing address and payment method

In stripe, the customer portal contains information for both billing address and payment method so why is there a need to store it in supabase user's table? Is the data redundant?

When the data is updated in Stripe, there's a webhook that syncs it with Supabase. The reason it's in Supabase is so you can easily query it and display it in the application 👍
