allow setting the container-id and hostname fields for the connection

The AMQP Open frame carries a container-id and hostname fields. These are used by some servers/clients for conveying 'Client ID' and 'Virtual Host' concepts.

Whilst vertx-proton supports manipulating these value, the amqp-bridge doesnt expose a way to pass the details and so it isnt possible to alter the defaults used (connection hostname as hostname, generated container-id). Options should be added to let the bridge change the values for cases where control is required.
