Unable to Save Entry/Data with 'Element' Return Value Setting

Attempting to use Super Dropdown with a multi-level Category list. When using the field in an entry, it can be utilized without issue when the Return Value setting is set to "Array". When either changed to "Element" or created from scratch with "Element" selected as the Return Value, the entry itself will not save and produces the following error:

`Request missing required body param

1. in '.../vendor/craftcms/cms/src/web/Request.php'`

When Super Dropdown is used with the above settings in another field (Super Table), it won't save the data for the field itself (the entry can otherwise save).
