The current length is 256 characters which is sometimes not enough to explain a rejection.

Might be good to replace/remove this form/code entirely and just use how we do the "edit discussion" in conjunction with #71.

Maybe add a little boilerplate under the "@" mention such as "Your submission has been rejected"

Raised the limit to 1024 while we get around implementing #71
