So not all color libraries are created equal :) Notably https://github.com/thisandagain/color has a lot of overlap with Chameleon, with many other color palettes - you might want to check it out.

You're definitely right about color libraries not being created equal. I built Chameleon in hopes of simplifying the use of color in applications, without developers having to constantly switch back and forth between the documentation to see what color "Nephritis" is or having them open up Photoshop to find the hex values / rgb values for a specific color. My ultimate goal is to simplify the process as much as possible, while also improving performance and functionality. For now I'm focused on enhancing Chameleon before porting to other libraries.

Maybe someday.
