[Safari 9.1] Issue with buffer make VOD stream stuck #455
Comments
safari support is being worked on master branch. there are known issues in v0.5.x stable branch. u might recheck your stream on master. stay tuned. |
Hi @mangui I built hls.js on master branch and retried but issue still there :( Do I have to add "elst box" - which you guy discuss on #9 by myself? Transpiled hls.js file here, I think it's up to date. And btw, I simulated a video as live stream, hls works fine with no buffer error Thank you |
no. elst box is not yet there. |
hi there, I found some options for ffmpeg that could make my stream is able to play on Desktop Safari, but there are still some buffer holes between fragments |
@chjcken should be working now, without buffer holes |
@mangui great work, many thanks :D |
Hi everyone,
I cannot play stream on demo page on Safari 9.1
I checked the log and found that there is something wrong with the buffer.
If I simulate the video on demo page as a live stream (event and slide window) the stream works fine.
This issue happens only on Safari (mine is ver 9.1), and I haven't tested with other Safari version
Here is the log: maybe you want to open a new tab on pastebin here http://pastebin.com/W4fLNhEK or I just paste it below
