There's a blog post at https://blog.seblab.be/posts/backup-gitea-in-kubernetes/ from @pondichys that points to https://github.com/pondichys/gitea-s3backup-docker , an S3 based backup strategy for Gitea in Kubernetes. It's based on the Gitea Helm chart, so it will need some thinking/rethinking for Acorn, but it's a good start.
