This is a plugin for Logstash.
It is fully free and fully open source. The license is Apache 2.0, meaning you are pretty much free to use it however you want in whatever way.
This Logstash filter plugin is used to determine ip version and if the ip address is public.
The plugin uses the following cidr ranges to determine if the ipaddress is in a non-public range.
