How to use hbs templates in theme development?

Am i missing some tool that will create apex templates from hbs templates?

Yes, I am using an internal tool that automatically creates APEX templates based on these hbs files. It is not a public tool and I could remove those hbs files from the repo but I thought they could be useful for people reading the commit logs (knowing what changed internally)
