Zavala Release 2.4

  • Collaborate functions are now combined into the Share function to better conform to more recent platform conventions.
  • When accepting a link to Collaborate, Zavala now correctly handles the link even if the link has to launch Zavala.
  • When accepting a link to Collaborate, Zavala will select the newly accepted document for you.
  • When a shared document is unshared or deleted, Zavala will now automatically delete it from the shared-to device.
  • Added the keyboard shortcut and main menu item Delete Row.
  • Fixed an issue where images wouldn’t get sent to iCloud if importing Outlines using Shortcuts.
  • Undoing a row delete could cause the reconstituted rows to not sync properly. Now fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where a character could come back while typing. Typically this only happened when backspacing quickly.
  • Fixed a crash that could happen when the system was rebuilding the Documents View.
  • Make loading and unloading of Outlines more robust to make sure Outlines don't unload while syncing.
  • Corrected verbiage for Export PDF List menu item.
  • Fixed a bug where the Sidebar might not be available on launch and then refuse to appear when prompted by the Show Sidebar command.
  • When multiple Zavala windows are open at the same time, menu items and keyboard shortcuts may not work. This has been resolved.
  • The Get Rows shortcut now uses a relative depth instead of an absolute one. This makes the intent of the shortcut more clear.
  • The tab key shouldn’t indent the row when editing notes. Now it doesn’t.
  • Fixed a bug where the Sidebar might not be available on launch and then refuse to appear when prompted by the Show Sidebar command.
  • When dragging multiple Outlines from one Account to another all Outlines selected are moved instead of just the first one.
  • Deleting a Note will now correctly sync the delete command and remove the Note from all other devices.
  • macOS
    • Made the disclosure button a little smaller on the Mac so that it is easier to select the top level row.
    • The Add Note Level menu item is just Add Note now. I have no idea why it was ever the other way.
    • Scrolling no longer deselects selected rows. So annoying when that happens.
  • iOS
    • We no longer open a new window when accidentally double tapping on an Outline in the Documents List.
