Bootsnipp has some nice examples. I like the idea of using a dropdown for logging in, which would allow the user to hypothetically start using the DAW interface locally before logging in. http://bootsnipp.com/snippets/featured/nav-bar-with-popup-sign-in

The Ember authentication plugin a lot of people use is Ember Simple Auth.
