I'm guessing something like cygwin is required ...

windows one might as well be a separate project or something, maybe we could rewrite n to use a bootstrapped node but meh

@tetri n is great and I use it all the time on osx for testing against 0.8.x and 0.10.x versions (and it would be nice to have the same setup on windows)

might as well just write a windows variant and call it n-win or something, you can still use the same api, but it's not something I want to maintain, I haven't used windows in about 8 years and don't plan to any time soon
