Will stylus ever be abandoned in favour of styl? #18

I'm a bit confused why anyone would maintain both stylus and styl? Versus just doing whichever is best. From the comparison, it seems that styl will eventually replace stylus, and stylus will just be for legacy users. Can this be confirmed?

I'm not maintaining stylus anymore, we have a maintainer. They're pretty different approaches, it's not really supposed to replace stylus
