Describe the bug

There are a couple of .xmf data files in /usr/workspace/visit/bug_data on CZ. Neither one will read properly with Xdmf plugin. They read fine into 3.3.3.

I get the error message....

generated.xmf:269: parser error : Detected an entity reference loop
            &HeavyData;

It is concievable that the file is indeed bad and our previous versions simply were not detecting it. But, when I eye-balled the file, I didn't see anything wrong. And, VisIt 3.3.3 loads and uses it fine.

Helpful additional information

  • Did VisIt crash
  • Did you get wrong results:

Desktop

  • OS and version: macOS and Toss4
  • VisIt Version: 3.4.1

This is for NIF diagnostics team
