Performance of client for large files

The client became non-responsive when I tried to render an Exodus mesh from a 796M file. I'm not 100% positive if the fault was entirely on the server side, as our code may be sending too many rotation events to the server when trying to rotate, but I figured I would make a ticket here to track potential work on the VisIt Java client in support of larger files.
