I'm curious about this too – stretch seems to be exactly what I needed for my use case (especially the JS / wasm binding), but some of the open issues give me pause. It would be really helpful to know if stretch is still being maintained (or if maybe y'all are looking for new maintainers?), particularly since it's a pretty foundational library for anyone who needs a non-browser implementation of Flexbox. If it's not going to be maintained going forward, eh, it happens, but an update from the maintainers would help folks looking for a native implementation of Flexbox make a more informed decision. Either way, all your work on this so far is much appreciated!! |
I think the project is deas. Go with Facebook's Yoga. Not that active, too, but at least it works pretty well. |
It looks like the founders of visly (the creator of stretch) have joined Figma. There is an active fork at https://github.com/elbaro/stretch2 (@elbaro) but it looks like issues are disabled. is there some way we can open publish writes to crates / edit writes on the repo to start merging in patches? EDIT For future travelers, Dioxus is maintaining a fork. |
It's a temporary fork only with known fixes. I will not actively maintain it. For a long term please start a new fork. |
The Bevy org is helping to maintain that fork now; I would expect active development and fixes there going forward. |
ty @alice-i-cecile for your work. note about this fork : js binding removed for now. |
Taffy 0.1 is out; this contains full docs and several bug fixes for this library. The initial migration should be painless; future development work is ongoing :) |
Almost a year since any development on stretch it seems? Is the project still going to see active development?
