By default GPT API behaves like a casual friend engaging in light hearted banter. The breadth of its relevant knowledge and length of responses might be limited. Users can add contextual information to customize responses, making responses specific to a field or conversation topic. See this section in parameters.yaml and the corresponding examples.
system_prompt - These are instructions to LLM API to customize the responses. Out of the box configuration is like a casual friend. The other two examples are specific to Basketball and Fantasy Football related conversations.
initial convo - This section provides sample conversation as a guidance to LLM for how to respond. Role "You" is a sample question / comment by speaker. Role: "assistant" is a sample response by LLM. Further responses by LLM will be structured in a tone similar to the sample response we provided here.
Users can add customer system_prompt, initial convo examples for the specific topics they are interested in.
