While the writing stats dialog has the statistics of your writing progress, a details dialog for the various counts and info about the project itself would be useful. Some of this already exists on the Details tab of Project Settings, but this could be separated out into a new tool and combined with more information.

Especially useful is a way to calculate how many pages the manuscript would be. A source for values can be the ones listed here: https://www.bookdesignmadesimple.com/calculate-book-page-count-using-word-count/

This feature relates to questions from #507

Actually, the Page Count tool can be even further improved. It should display a list of all chapters with the individual page count for each chapter. This is more realistic since each chapter starts on a new page anyway, and the details panel should be able to account for that. Even accounting for a chapter always having an even number of pages.

It should also display a percentage-wise (accumulated) progress of the story for each chapter based on the raw word count. This is also useful when you're writing a traditional three act story with a 25%–50%–25% breakdown (or any other breakdown you may aim for) and want to check that you're on track. The 100% mark should both be in terms of the current total raw word count and the target word count so you can compare while writing.

Edit: This info may actually be perfect for a "Novel" tab in the project tree as discussed in #513, with an accompanying settings dialog, or tab in Project Settings if the settings are more static.

A Project Details tool has now been merged into the dev branch for release in 1.1. The dialog has an "Overview" page and a "Contents" page. The first shows mostly the same information as the "Details" tab in "project Settings" did (this has been removed) and the second page shows all titles and chapters in the novel, with a page count, the page where it starts, and the percentage progress in the full novel. This is a useful tool to get a good overview of how it may all look when finished. It also helps to balance the various chapters and judge how long the novel is. The page count is based on a words per page value that can be changed under the contents table.
