What happened:

On a fresh k8s cluster i want install kubeless:

But the cronjob-trigger-controller crash with

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):

fresh setup k8s cluster with kubeadm and use

$ export RELEASE=$(curl -s https://api.github.com/repos/kubeless/kubeless/releases/latest | grep tag_name | cut -d '"' -f 4)
$ kubectl create ns kubeless
$ kubectl create -f https://github.com/kubeless/kubeless/releases/download/$RELEASE/kubeless-$RELEASE.yaml

Environment:

• Kubernetes version (use kubectl version):
  v1.21.1

• Kubeless version (use kubeless version):
  Kubeless version: v1.0.8

• Cloud provider or physical cluster:
  On premise

I'm sorry to let you know that, AFAIK, Kubernetes versions > 1.18 are not fully supported as per #1226 (comment).
Also, note that Kubernetes 1.21 brings some API promotions (CRDs, CM, etc to v1) and other deprecations that may affect Kubeless.
