Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Hi,
I can get the offset and length of a device for changed data using the method queryChangedDiskAreas with a special snapshot point, but I don't know how to backup the sectors or find the corresponding methods in pyvmomi to do that.

Does anybody know any way to achieve it?

Describe the solution you'd like

I knew vixDiskLib under the project "http://xuru.github.io/vixDiskLib" can do that, but it only supports "VMware Virtual Disk Development Kit 1.2", can pyvmomi do the same things like that?

Describe alternatives you've considered
