But what happens is plasma will freeze and potentially crash entirely when I interact with plasma panels, like the main application "start" menu. If I start plasmashell manually so I can see any errors I wouldn't see any errors until plasma crashed with a message saying the wayland connection broke.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
Update linux from 5.13 to 5.15 with KDE as your DM
See that opening the application menu freezes
