Hi!

Can someone explain me, why the linux package is currently a kernel (6.3.13), that is not listed in http://www.kernel.org/ ?

Isn't that a security risk?

Thx.

Bye.

It is on there? Or are you asking why it's behind 'current stable'?

Linux 6.3 does indeed seem to be EOL since mid-July, which is a bit concerning. The bump to 6.5 is being worked on though.

Void tries to provide first-class support for out-of-tree kernel modules. Before updating the linux metapackage, things such as zfs and nvidia drivers must be updated. This will only happen once the respective upstreams release versions compatible with more recent kernels.
If you don't use out-of-tree modules, you can manually install linux6.4 or an older LTS kernel.
Or just wait.
