Even if I have "daemon": false in vzlogger.conf the program still daemonizes:

[Nov 30 12:59:57][main] daemon=0, local=1
[Nov 30 12:59:57] Daemonize process...

This applies to vzlogger 0.3.9, compiled and run on Raspbian 2014-09-09.

andig recommended to use 0.4.0 -- where can I get it? I pulled the latest source from GitHub yesterday...

And yes, I am sure that I'm touching the right config file. I'm changing it all the time, and my changes are picked up by vzlogger (apart from this issue I'm reporting here).

I believe its always daemonizing if you have local=true. Not sure if this is due to threading but upfront it seems net really necessary.

I can confirm that if I remove local=true it's no longer daemonizing -- which in a way makes sense, because what's the point of having a built-in HTTP daemon if you then only start vzlogger in one-shot mode?!

So I will close this issue, but I would recommend documenting this behavior somewhere.
