When a user installs a package, it will fail if it tries to install a binary that already exists.

There should be some way to get past that error, for instance:

  • a command line option to choose a subset of binaries from the package, or
  • a dialog allowing the user to choose which binary to keep when there is a conflict

With the changes to use npm or yarn directly, I don't think this applies any more.
