This example from README doesn't works as described. It seems to ignore "required" field completely and prints just ["The property '#/a' of type string did not match the following type: integer in schema 01545b94-1588-55b9-8a56-97f328178a87#"]

The issue referenced by @arcticlcc definitely was the cause of this. This has been fixed in eea66141 and released in 2.1.4 - please check if this issue has been fixed for you.
