vrapper doesn't work with selection by "Select Enclosing Element" #534

After I made a selection with "Select Enclosing Element (Shift+alt+up/down)", I tried 's' or 'x', but it didn't do what I expected. Can this problem be fixed?

I agree that this is a missing feature, but it isn't all so easy. We're currently experimenting with it for #511, so I think this is a duplicate or at least a related issue.
