When behind a proxy, it's impossible to fetch the OE documentation:

I ran into this today. In the meantime, is there a way to get the extension to make use of toc.json that I've downloaded manually?

I was able to run vscode on a machine not behind a proxy so that it downloads the file. Then copy the ~/.rssw/oedoc.bin file to my other machine and it then worked.

Alas, the only machines available to me that have an OpenEdge installation are behind proxies.

Unfortunately, no. But as Ken said, the oedoc.bin can be shared across machines.

I'm dealing with the same problem in our corporate network. Surprisingly, the URL is accessible using web browser but not from VSCode.

Could you please provide step by step instructions on how/where to get the oedoc.bin mention above?
I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks.

Here is the current version. Extract oedoc.zip in $HOME/.rssw/
