Error logging into Company private registry

Hello there. I am seeing an error when I try to connect vscode to our Company's private registry. The only error I see is Unable to parse WWW-Authenticate header: "Basic realm="harbor"" as shown in the screenshot below. I do not see any errors in the Dev tools console, or in any of the output windows.

I have essentially just followed these steps:

1. Connect Registry
2. Generic Registry V2
3. enter company url (the same I use to succesfully login via docker login from the command prompt
4. enter username/password

As mentioned above I am able to successfully login via command prompt.

Then the below error is presented.

This issue should be raised against the docker extension. this repo is for the kubernetes extension. On a side note, i'm perfectly able to access my company's image registry with the only difference being mine doesn't require a password.
