Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When you apply clipping to a full mix there is no way of pinpointing the clipping towards a specific frequency area. That's why often the bass / low frequencies are the first to distort.

Describe the solution you'd like
A simple EQ control (maybe just a tilt control) that allows you to emphasise / de-emphasise the signal that goes into the clipping stage. An inverted instance after the clipping stage, so that all EQ changes pre-clipping stage are compensated for = no change of the frequency balance, but you can for example focus the attention on the higher frequencies while reducing the amount of bass that gets distorted by the clipping stage

Additional context
Here is a good video demonstration of the idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-Gs-o39C5o
