There is discussion whether method-specific DID parameter names should use colon separators:

did:foo:21tDAKCERh95uGgKbJNHYp;foo:bar=high

or kebab-case style:

did:foo:21tDAKCERh95uGgKbJNHYp;foo-bar=high
