Are N'Ko examples 17 and 18 correct?

Looking at these two examples, I am wondering why the (same? very similar?) characters are laid out in a different order. I was expecting these examples to show different font rendering of the same text, and am not sure whether the text ordering differences are intended.

Ah. Thanks for pointing that out, @astearns. The direction had been overridden before i took one of the screen snaps.
