This issue is related to #1512 and w3c/aria#689.

Both of the aforementioned issues suggest a new role token which can be used to show selected options inline for listboxes (or listbox analogues) which allow multiple selection.

The addition of a new role is disputed, however in the interim there should be an example of an accessible multiselect listbox. The example should show authors where to these 'tokens' should be placed in relation to the combobox element. This concern is also raised in #1296.
