1.2 ARIA's combobox references 1.1 APG #1374

The ARIA 1.2 spec for combobox references Authoring Practices Guide 1.1:

See the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices Guide [WAI-ARIA-PRACTICES-1.1] for additional details on implementing combobox design patterns.

This is confusing because this spec has 2 notes specifying discrepancies between ARIA 1.1 and 1.2 specs for combobox. Specifically:

...following the ARIA 1.1 combobox specification will no longer conform with the ARIA specification.

Note: It appears this issue was previously reported (bug: #1143) and subsequently fixed in version 17 (pr: #1240).

This is already fixed. The 1.2 WD is out of date. We are waiting for reviews to complete before publishing the 1.2 CR
