It'd be really good if the eyedropper could be constrained to picking from a particular DOM element. |

Thank you for the feedback @jamespearce2006! This use case makes sense to me, but I wonder what the UI should look like (eyedropper cursor when hovering the element, otherwise normal cursor?) Let me ping @ipopescu93 for further discussion as he's the spec editor. |
@captainbrosset I imagined something like a disallowed cursor when hovering outside the element - similar to how drag/drop works when the drop target is not valid. |
EyeDropper api has a bug: using this API once,input method aplication do not work in asia contries. |
