The Permission spec's section about MediaDevices outline iframes use of the allowusermedia attribute, and then says that mediacapture-main defines allowusermedia which it doesn't.

I think this Issue should be closed. We've deliberately been vague on the API for a web author to indicate that getUserMedia features should be available to an iframe, just saying

All Documents have a user media enabled flag. This specification does not detail how or when this flag is set.

so whether this is done by an allowusermediaattribute or some other way (e.g. https://github.com/WICG/feature-policy) is beyond the scope of this spec and hence it should not define allowusermedia.

Closing since the Permission spec now links to the html spec for definition of allowusermedia.
