I'm not sure that a reset is what they're asking for. I would recommend @JayPanoz's Blitz as a source for well-tested CSS for ebooks.

Also, note our reset works in the “Blitz context.” It is tightly coupled with the CSS framework. So it can’t be taken @ face value.

Strictly speaking, this would be the CSS reset you need: https://github.com/FriendsOfEpub/Blitz/blob/e14284f7bcb089f104ae894e3fef6f464787be69/Blitz_framework/CSS/AltStylesheets/blitz-reset/blitz-reset.css#L16-L18 so… it’s definitely more than a CSS reset this issue is about. In Blitz, we consider margins, font-size, etc. to be outside the scope of the reset for instance.
