Hi,

This issue is not related to SDW, but rather to some Ajax call to https://www.w3.org/TR/tr-outdated-spec blocks the loading of the SSN spec, until this call finally fails because of a 404 error.

call is made in script https://www.w3.org/scripts/TR/2016/fixup.js at line 155.

script fixup.js is loaded at the very end of the spec document.

Hi @maximelefrancois86 , the request to /TR/tr-outdated-spec checks if you are reading the latest version of the specification. If that's not the case, it will return the latest version and you'll get an outdated warning.
Looking at the inspector, the request is pretty quick but it takes time to load because of all the images contained in that spec.

Hi, my inspector doesn't tell the same story:

tr-outdated-spec is pending for >30s in a blocking xhr request, and this call finally ends with a 404 error.

Only then, the page is responding.

@maximelefrancois86 I really can't reproduce the problem. tr-outdated-spec does respond in less than 500ms.
Do you have the same behavior in different browsers? Do you have extensions that block the referer, etc?
