New charter proposal, reviewers please take note.

Charter Review

Charter:

What kind of charter is this?

  • Existing WG recharter

If this is a charter extension or revision, link a diff from previous charter, and any issue discussion:

Horizontal Reviews:

  • Accessibility (a11y)
  • Internationalization (i18n)
  • Privacy
  • Security

Communities suggested for outreach:
no new communities

Known or potential areas of concern?:
this is very low level in the Web Platform stack and not your usual type of API. So Security and Privacy issues could be triggered due to leaks in the virtual machine.

Where would charter proponents like to see issues raised? (github preferred, email, ...)
within this issue please.

Anything else we should think about as we review?
not that I can think of

@dschuff, @rossberg, @dtig, @binji, could you all check out the charter and/or diff from the previous charter and let me know if you have any advice? IMO, this is pretty mechanical, but if you'd like to discuss it in a CG meeting, plh and I can attend. If you think it's not worth delaying, plh can send it for review on Monday 2 Dec, with the expectation that it may be ammended until Friday 6 Dec.

Feel free to @ mention other folks who you think should be in the loop.

(unless I hear otherwise, I'll start the steps to get this charter out for review no later than December 6)

APA does not request anything for this charter. The boilerplate about potentially adding an APA liaison can be removed. Over to @brewerj to complete accessibility horizontal review.

This charter is now under W3M review and will be sent to the AC for review next week under new issues come up.
