TTML Tests
Working mode for making changes to test repositories
Chair's proposal (from Nigel): we use the same process for making changes to the test repositories as we do for making changes to specification repositories, i.e. Pull Request -> 2 week minimum review period (usually*) -> merge if no outstanding objections.
* usually 2 week minimum review period: exceptions include minor editorial changes, high urgency changes where there is high participation and agreement to proceed, for example.
Making sure we have useful test expectations/references
Most of the TTML tests have expectations/references generated by TTPE, in SVG form. Most of the IMSC tests have expectations/references generated by imscJS, in PNG form. Should we, and can we generate PNG equivalents of the SVGs for the TTML tests? If so, who can take an action to do this?
Joint meeting requests
TPAC dates have been circulated; TPAC will be virtual, and be held from 18-29 October. The week from 25 to 29 October will be dedicated to the Joint and Group meetings.
We have (probably?) concluded that we do not wish to have a TTWG meeting, but there are options for joint meetings, and some representations have been made to Nigel as Chair.
We have until 10 September to declare meeting dates.
APA / Silver joint meeting request for 20th October 10am Eastern (1400 UTC)
Note that there is a relatively new document in preparation: Synchronization Accessibility User Requirements available at https://raw.githack.com/w3c/apa/main/saur/ whose contents are likely to directly relate to those of the members of TTWG.
