Media contents often consist of multiple resources (e.g. multiple tracks, SMIL objects, etc.) This becomes specially relevant regarding accessibility alternatives which may reside in separate files (e.g. caption files). The current wording equates media resources with media files, it would need some clarification that media resources may have different resources associated (quite in line with markup resources having style and script resources associated).

Just a couple of editorial comments on the wording: 'caption' is often used, rather than 'subtitles', when referring to subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. Plus, the new added sentence might make more sense later in the paragraph (when it says "from the accessibility standpoint, the evaluation of these resources" seems to refer to the caption tracks mentioned just before that).
