  • (not part of the understanding content, but still an issue on this page) - All three of the glossed phrases (underlined for definition) lead to the WCAG 2.1 home page and not to the term itself.
  • The first two paragraphs could be combined and written more clearly explaining the need for some users to customize symbols for components, icons, buttons, etc.
  • The fourth paragraph is a single sentence and just seems to be odd sitting out on its own without more information. I didn't really understand it until I read the first bullet under the Examples section. Add some content to this paragraph around why a user would want to remove or highlight things with their user agent.
  • The Benefits section could use some more definition. For example (just ideas, need better examples):
    • "Focus and Attention - ability to remove content from the page that is not marked up as "main" content"
    • "Language-related - visiting a site that is a secondary language and having the home link be a "house" image the user is familiar with using"

As Brent mentioned the concepts in this document are somewhat abstract and could use some clarification. Perhaps it makes sense to extrapolate on the benefits provided in the reference materials?

Last paragraph of Intent needs improvement.
Benefits need some specific examples

Agree with Brent that paragraph 4 on its own as a single sentence seems as though content is missing. Perhaps move the sentence to the previous paragraph: "Similarly, identifying regions of the page allows people to remove or highlight regions with their user agent, customizing to meet their needs.
