Add PAR to response data?

During today's tokenization task force call [1] the question arose whether the response data for this payment method should include Payment Account Reference (PAR) information (as defined in section 7 of the EMV Payment Tokenisation Specification v2 [2]). I note that PAR is a general purpose umbrella term, and we would need to understand which data specifically would be useful to return and for what purpose.

See tentative conclusion that we do not need it because "since PAR is being returned with the Auth response, as long as acquirers and PSPs pass it along to the merchant, we should be OK."

Another question: should it be returned with basic-card?
