Counter only updates when pasting or after switching to source and back

Any idea where this might come from?
(Using latest chrome, editor 4.1 through the ckeditorr drupal module...)

Are you using the latest version of the plugin from the github page?

Does this problem also occur on the demo page http://w8tcha.github.com/CKEditor-WordCount-Plugin/?

haha (or, oops, sorry stealing your time):
my problems were with the original counter (plugin called counter, not wordcount.)
original means, it comes with the drupal module http://drupal.org/project/ckeditor.

yes, i use your latest now, and that works ok.
(one little bug, also in the demo:
trailing spaces are counted only after the next visible char. is entered...)
