Log reading is broken

Currently _irclog_recall is broken the write function was updated some time
ago but the read function is not able to read the new format.

ok, worked on it a lot tonight and determined that the irclog_recall code
was not modified to handle the new log format. Now that I understand the
code I''m ready to make changes.

first version of the changes have been applied to head - need to test with
multiple channels to make sure log entries are routed to the appropriate
channel.
