dircproxy dies

When i start up the proxy it listens ok, enough to allow me to see that it
is alive. then the minute a client tries to connect it dies.

I have run it with -D option and this is the message i am getting;

stevenm@eclipse:~/dircproxy-1.0.5/src$ ./dircproxy -D
Filesize limit exceeded

now; thinking it was logs (16M) I cleared them and now it runs ok. does the
proxy have log file limitations?'
