Environment

  • Version: 2.5.0

What steps will reproduce the bug?

  1. Go to /unread/list (default)
  2. Search something, you will be led to /search?currentRoute=unread&search_entry[term]=foobar
  3. On the left side, click All entries

Expected new URL: /search?currentRoute=all&search_entry[term]=foobar
Actual new URL: /all/list

The scope for search is not changed, instead the searhc is discarded.

Hello @jtagcat.

Hmm, in fact, it's a feature 😊
It's like a webmail: you can filter the current view, but when you click on "sent" link, you get all the sent items. I don't know if I'm clear enough.

I get what you mean.

Though, unless it's the 'unread' button (main page of interest), I don't really see much use of the feature. Why browse all entries when search is available.

Since I almost always forget to select 'unread/archived/all', It'd be neat if the UI offered a way to switch between them without reentering the search term.
